What is an atmospheric water generator?
A generator of water from atmospheric air is a piece of equipment capable of converting moisture or water vapor from the air into water through refrigeration, and treating it safely for consumption.
What do I need to make it work?
An atmospheric water generator only needs an electrical power source.
This energy source can be:
- The electrical network
- A generating group
- A photovoltaic solar installation
Once the machine is in operation, it begins to generate water in different quantities depending on its cooling power and the temperature and relative humidity conditions of the place where it is located. These conditions vary by time of day and throughout the months of the year.
They are Plug & Drink equipment: plug and play!
How does it work and what components does it have?
Aquasol kits have seven main components:
- Input and connection to electrical voltage for plugging
- Air inlet and its filter to ensure the cleanliness of the air to be treated
- A cooling system to cause condensation of the water contained in the air
- A water collection tray and its tank
- treatment for the disinfection of bacteria and viruses using ultraviolet rays
- Mineralizing cartridges to add to the water the usual minerals present in water intended for consumption
- Water outlet
Daily water production and models: from 5o to 4500 liters
The machines for the production of drinking water were initially designed as an emergency solution for those situations where a population was without the availability of drinking or drinking water.
The good quality of the water from the Aquasol equipment is not intended for irrigation or industrial process water, which needs large volumes and at prices only possible in the network or catchment in own wells.
Unfortunately, the current situation of over-exploitation of rivers and aquifers plus the permanent drought due to climate change has caused Aquasol equipment to also become an alternative solution when there are supply cuts in the municipal network, the wells are dry or it is not allowed to make new ones, or there is no possibility of drinking water tankers.
